It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara Lynn Westlund of Franklin, North Carolina, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom White and Betty Karr White; her husband Jim Westlund; her granddaughter Bailey Haas; and her nephew Todd Hogan.
She is survived by: her children, Carrie Westlund (Wayne "Gus" Douglas), Jennifer, Lucas (Anthony Jimenez) and Michelle Fountain (Tommy); her grandchildren, Caitlyn Wood, CJ Smallwood, Autumn Boyce, Reiley Moon, Aubreigh Lucas, Daylen Westlund and Sydneigh Jimenez; her great grandchildren, Trace Wood and Wynonna Wood; and her sister Richelle Kolb. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Macon Funeral Home (261 Iotla St, Franklin, NC 28734). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
