Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Turner Guffie and Helen Roane Guffie; her husband Joe Hodgin; her sister Betty Barnhardt; and her granddaughter Lyla Maxson.
She is survived by: her children, Jerry Hodgin (Darlene), Susan Hodgin Deal (Jim), Jack D. Hodgin (June) and Sharon Bryson (Tony). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
