It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Pegues Royal (Frank, North Carolina), born in Chesterfield, South Carolina, who passed away on March 27, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas "Tom" and Laura Pegues; her siblings, Irene Tatum, Mabel Hardison, Estella Hardison, Virginia Williams and Willie "Buddy" Pegues; her granddaughter Contessa Royal; and her great grandchild Na'Tory Royal.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Royal; and her children, Douglas Royal (Vanessa), Larry Royal (Paula), Brenda Little (Darris) of High Point, NC and Teresa Wright (Jeffrey) of High Point, NC. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
