He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank D. Pierce Sr. and Jane Pierce. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Pierce; his sister Nancy Jenkins (Billie); his children, David Pierce (Heather) and April Schilling (Travis); and his grandsons, Jared Pierce Schilling, Devin Pierce and Luke Pierce.

Donations in his honor to St. Jude's or The Autism Society are appreciated in lieu of flowers.
