It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Thompson Kirschner in Foxfire Village, North Carolina, born in York, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 8, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband George E. Kirschner, Jr.; and her parents, Roland Thompson and Ruth Thompson. She is survived by: her children, George E. Kirschner III (Imperial) and Kim Kirschner Renzi (Michael) of Seagrove, NC; her grandchildren, Amanda, Bryan Kirschner, Michael (Samantha), Nicholas, Christopher, Michela and Stephen Renzi; and her great grandchildren, Lucas, Brooklyn and Caroline Renzi.
In lieu of flowers, Shirley requested memorial contributions be made to the First Health Hospice Foundation, 150 Applecross Road, Pinehurst, NC 28374.
