He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willis Gilbert and Hannah Allen Lassiter; his wife Bonnie Norris Lassiter; his children, Michael West (Christi), Leanne Jones (Craig) and Travis Lassiter (Lindsey); his grandchildren, Cameron West, Haley West and Ethan Jones; and his sisters, Lou Ann Johnson and Eleanor Barbour.
