He was predeceased by: his parents, Rufus Sanders, Sr. and Vidah Wood Sanders; and his wife Bobbie B. Sanders. He is survived by: his children, William Wood "Billy" Sanders, Jr. (Kathy), Angela Joyner (Danny) and Scott Sanders (Melissa); his grandchildren, William Wood Sanders, III, Kathryn Sanders, Joshua Joyner (Caroline) and Matthew Sanders; and his siblings, Laura Beth Barbour (Joe Mack), Ann Durham and Rufus Sanders, Jr. (Linda).
