He is survived by: his wife Denise McCullen Hamilton; his daughters, Alyssa Hamilton of Four Oaks and Mary-Leigh Hamilton of Smithfield; his grandchildren, Carson Rose, Ava Grey and James Cullen; and his siblings, Melanie Hamilton McCullen of Smithfield, Richard Bruce Hamilton (Lori) of Smithfield and Tony Blake Hamilton (Kathy) of Four Oaks.
