She was predeceased by: her parents, Milford Purdy and Thelma Purdy; her husband Maynard Gibson; and her stepdaughter Myra Cutter. She is survived by: her children, Don Brewer, Cynthia Sullivan, Steven Brewer and Anne Perry; and her grandchildren, Laura Morales, Zachary, Cameron, Matthew, Brandon Brewer and Sarah Weese.

She suffered with Alzheimer's for over ten years, and fought to stay with her loved ones until every one of her living children could say goodbye.
