It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thurman Rudolph Creech Sr. of Four Oaks, North Carolina, who passed away on November 2, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert R. Myeres and Clarkie Myeres; his daughter Clarkie Sue Creech; his brother Kenneth Creech; and his granddaughter Elizabeth Mitchell (Beth).
He is survived by: his significant other Elizabeth Ward; his children, Thurman R. Creech Jr. (Beverley) of Brogden, Herbert A. Creech (Amy) of Selma and Naomi L. Parker (Garry) of Four Oaks; his sisters, Josephine Braswell (Norman) of Princeton, Edna Jones of Pine Level and Anna Jean Mitchell (Paul) of Selma; and his grandchildren, David H. Baker, Melissa Hatcher (Dawn), Newton Baker, Thurman R. Creech III, Elizabeth N. Creech, Stan Creech, Tiffany Rook, Brandy Mouser, April Creech, Hunter T. Parker, Heather R. Parker, Logan Capps and Bradley Braswell. He is also survived by twenty-two great grandchildren.
