Shirley Ann Whitley Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 8, 2021, at the age of 77, Shirley Ann Whitley of Four Oaks, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Deams Edgar Smith and Willie Adell Carter Smith. She is survived by: her husband Marshall Henry Whitley; her children, Tony Marshall Whitley (Tina) of Rosewood, Tommy Ray Whitley (Stephanie) of Smithfield, Terry Wayne Whitley (Tammy) of Benson, Jamie Travis Whitley (Melisea) of Four Oaks, Christopher Mark Whitley (Michelle) of Kenly and Shirley Elaine Toole (Bobby) of Smithfield; and her sister Frances Jones of Knightdale. She is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.

Although flowers are welcome, the family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
