He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald Waylon Mayo (Tom) and Myrtle Gray Johnson Mayo; and his siblings, Waylon Mayo and Judith Ann Mayo. He is survived by: his girlfriend Brenda Pearce; his stepson Joe Newsome; and his siblings, Wayne Parker of Pine Level, Frankie Mayo of Four Oaks, Dwight Mayo of Smithfield, Brenda Cobb of Smithfield, Rose Boswell of Kenly and Joy Weaver of Princeton. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
