He was predeceased by: his parent James Lloyd. He is survived by: his parent Rhoda Guin Rhodes; his spouse Sederis Rhodes; his stepdaughter Macie Whitfield of Goldsboro; his brother-in-law Glenda Langston; and also, Glenn Langston of Four Oaks and Rebecca Regan of Four Oaks. He is also survived by five brothers and their wives; James "Clip" and Teresa Rhodes of Four Oaks, Doug and Judy Rhodes of Four Oaks, Talmadge "Rit" and Lynn Rhodes of Four Oaks, Walter Dale Rhodes and Dean Britt of Four Oaks, and Gary Rhodes and Kelly Ivy of Myrtle Beach, S. C., two sisters.
