He is survived by: his wife Bertha Hocutt; his children, Roger Hocutt Jr. (Dana) and Jeany O'Neal (Mike) of Wendell; his stepchildren, Beverly Batten (Steve) of Four Oaks, David Guin, Jr. (Jennifer) of Four Oaks and Donald Guin of Clayton; his grandchildren, Lauren O'Neal, Austin Hocutt and Megan Hocutt; and his siblings, Gene Hocutt (Betty Jean) of Moyock, NC, Dan Hocutt (Mildred) of Clayton, Peggy Crocker of Virginia and Betty Joe Crocker (Weldon) of Kenly. He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
