It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Repsie Thompson Johnson (Four Oaks, North Carolina), who passed away on October 13, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Thompson and Mabel Phillips Thompson; her husband Hiram L. Johnson; her grandsons, Elijah Jernigan and Shawn-Michael Jernigan; and her siblings, Callie Watkins, Edith Thompson, Leatha Puckett of Ethel Casio, J. W, Copper Thompson and C. P. Thompson.
She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Jernigan (Ray) of San Antonio and Melanie Autry (Charlie) of Four Oaks; her grandchildren, Travis Jernigan (Sherry), Melissa Roovers (Yrjo), Christina Straughan (Jason), Jesse Ryan Jernigan (Tila), Kenneth Johnson Morris (Alisa), Hunter Morris (Brittany), Scarlett Wynter Wood (Tyler) and Noah Autry; her granddaughters-in-law, Tiffany Jernigan and Brandy Orr; and her sisters, Mable Cooke of Wilmington, Helen Stewart of Benson and Shirley Johnson of Fayetteville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In accordance with NC-COVID19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering.
