It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Neta Lee Barbour Womble (Four Oaks, North Carolina), who passed away on September 24, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father James Alton "Snook"; her daughter Pansy Arlene Byrd Grimes; her grandson William Gautier; and her brothers, Preston Barbour and Bradford Barbour.
She is survived by: her husband Wyatt Donald Womble; her son Todd Byrd (Amy Dunn) of Four Oaks; her grandchildren, Zachary Tidechild of Salida, Holli Gautier of Asheville, NC and Erin Byrd of Garner; her stepdaughter Marie Womble Mason (Scott) of Roanoke Rapids; her stepgrandchildren, Hannah, Baylor Roberson of Jacksonville, NC and Joey Roberson of Roanoke Rapids; and her siblings, Brenda Faye Barbour of Benson, Betty Elaine Horne (Pittman) of Autryville and Billy Wayne Barbour of Angier. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
