She was predeceased by: her parents, David Almond and Julia Atkinson Beasley; her husband Joe Mitchell Rhodes; her son Joe Junior Rhodes; her granddaughter Daisy Kay Rhodes; her son-in-law Joe Tom Adams, Jr.; and her siblings, Valston Beasley, Jessie Mae Holloman, Lessie Gray Dunn, Ruby Stewart and Mavis Dunn.
She is survived by: her children, Julie Adams (Thomas) of Kenly, Jeffrey Rhodes of New Bern and Jervis Rhodes (Jan) of Four Oaks; and her siblings, Eloise Bennett (Ken) of Four Oaks and Lofton Beasley (Ann) of Four Oaks. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Flowers are welcomed; however, memorials may be made to one's favorite charity.
