He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Hilda Marie Williams Summerlin of Newton Grove and Everette Louis "Jim" Summerlin; his daughters, Deanna S. Batten (Preston) of Four Oaks, Nedda Summerlin of Princeton and Laura S. Jones (Michael) of Kenly; his grandchildren, Kelly Batten, Kayla Batten and Amelia Rose Blake; and his siblings, Jackie Summerlin of Four Oaks, Ann Summerlin of Newton Grove, Randy Summerlin (Teresa) of Sneads Ferry and Billy Summerlin (Dana) of Rosewood.
