She was predeceased by: her parents, Virginia Moore Johnson and Paul Lawrence Johnson; her husband Rufus W. Johnson; her son Rufus Daniel "Danny" Johnson; and her brother Charles R. Johnson.
She is survived by: her daughter Phyllis Byrd Reynolds (Ray); her grandchildren, Kasey Byrd Haynie (Russell), Kari Byrd Huett and Bryan Corbit Byrd (Nichole); her great grandchildren, Adam, Tate Wilmore, Sarah and Emma Huett; and her siblings, Edna Jean Snead (Festus) and Paul Linwood Johnson (Margaret). She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, brother and sister in-laws and many devoted friends.
