She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Aaron and Florence Smith Mitchell Boykin; her son Eddie Weldon; and her siblings, Mary Evelyn Creech, Nancy Stewart and Bill Mitchell.
She is survived by: her daughter Julie Hamilton (David) of Four Oaks; her grandchildren, Joshua Hamilton (Catherine) of Nashville, TN and Amy Hamilton (Billy Yankee) of Oldsmar, Florida; her great grandchildren, Sarah Ann Yankee and William David Yankee; and her brothers, Jimmy Mitchell of Four Oaks and George Mitchell of California.
