She was predeceased by: her parents, Ausie Daniel "Habie" and Lessie Mitchell Childers; her husband Kermit Vinson; her son Larry Alford; her grandson Chris Alford; and her brothers, Paul Childers, Frank Childers, Ralph Childers and Homer Childers.
She is survived by: her son Dwight Vinson (Patricia Trujillo) of Fayetteville; her grandchildren, Gina Smith (Dallen) of Utah, Patrick Vinson (Andrea) of Indiana, Lorie Norris (Rodney) of Four Oaks and June Blue of Carthage; her great grandchildren, Johnathan McCormick (Catherine), Cody McCormick, Julia McCormick, Molly McCormick, Aaron McCormick, Nathan Vinson, Caleb Vinson, Joshua Vinson, Ashley Ballard, Kristy A. Bickel (Rick), Jansen W. Rouse (Mike) and Sabina A. Blue; and her great great grandchildren, Addy, JaLeigh, CieAna, James, Brigdet, Brody, Asher, Esther and David.
In accordance with NC-COVID-19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines and the three W's: wait, wash, and wear a face covering.
