She was predeceased by: her husband Gussie Wilson Wynn, Sr.; her sister Wanda; her brother-in-law Joe Parker; and her grandchildren, Ashlyn Blair Wynn and Brantley Duane Wood.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Evans (Victor) of Benson, Rebecca Wood of Carolina Beach and Gussie Wilson "Gus" Wynn Jr. (Traci) of Four Oaks; her grandchildren, Melissa Austin (Shane), Victor Wesley Evans, Jr., Taylor Wood, Wil Wynn (Morgan), Davis Wood, Jordan Lee Wynn (Logan), Caitlyn Heckman (Coty) and Jason Allen; her great grandchildren, Tucker Shane Austin and Madelyn Grey Austin; and her niece Paula Allen (David).
