She is survived by: her daughter Vanessa L.; her son-in-law Chad Matthews of Four Oaks; her grandchildren, Joshua Locklear Barbour, Laura Brooke Barbour, James Reid Barbour and Haley Renee Matthews; and her sisters, Merlene Toole (Thomas) of Four Oaks and Lois King (Dorsey) of Clayton.
