He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Wyche Hatch and Leaster Jackson Hatch; his grandson Luke Aaron Hatch; and his brothers, Michael Kent Hatch and Jerry Wyche Hatch.
He is survived by: his wife Kay Barbour Hatch; his children, Jonathan Lee Hatch (Kelly) of Four Oaks and Tanya Hatch Carberry (Stephen) of Four Oaks; his grandchildren, Gracie Hatch Eason (Lance), Charlie Peyton Hatch, Colin James Carberry and Lydia Morgan Carberry; his siblings, Sue Hatch Smith (Ronny) of Clinton and James Greg Hatch (June) of Leland; his sisters-in-law, Linda Hatch, Jean Hatch of Clinton and Kathy Barbour of Benson; and his pet Holly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Four Oaks (403 N Main St, Four Oaks, NC 27524). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
