Sparks (Jesse) and Phillip Powell; his great grandchildren, Kyndall Lee Powell and Easton Howard Sparks; and his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Thornton of Clinton, Lynn P. Britt (Dave) of Newton Grove and Billy Powell (Patsy) of Dunn. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
