He was predeceased by: his parents, David Emmitt and Flossie Adams Massey; and his brother Bobby D. Massey. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Guy Massey; his daughters, Annette Massey Adams (Randy) and Jeanette Massey McNeill (Matt); his grandchildren, Lauren Adams Harmon (Kyle), Matthew Boone McNeill, Joseph Guy McNeill, Luke David Adams and Courtney Garris; and his great grandchild Elijah Ryan "Eli" Harmon.
