It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Linda Moore Langston (Four Oaks, North Carolina), who passed away on January 16, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ottis S. Moore and Myrtle Stephenson Moore; her husband Joseph H. Langston, Sr.; and her brothers, Billy Moore and Ottis S. Moore, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Joseph H. Langston, Jr. of Raleigh, Scott Langston (Diana) of Rocky Mount and Laura L. Jackson (Jeff) of Jamestown; her grandchildren, Dr. Sara E. Carlisle (Philip Carlisle), Mary Katherine Smith (Mason Smith), Morgan Poston (Michael) and Taylor Jackson; her great grandchildren, Camden Scott Carlisle and Greyson Daniel Carlisle; her nieces, Karen Whitfield (Rick) and Melissa Mize; and her sister-in-law Katherine L. Moore.
In accordance with the NC COVID 19 guidelines, the funeral home suggests practicing social distancing guidelines.
