He was predeceased by: his parents, Theron Keene and Mildred Lassiter Keene; his wife Elizabeth K. Keene; and his siblings, Ann Hargis, Shirley Parker, Edward Keene, Bobby Keene and Charles Keene.
He is survived by: his son Tim Keene (Stephanie) of Kenly, NC; his grandchildren, Jordan Keene (Cherokee) and Logan Keene; his great grandchild Cade Selph; his stepson Hunter Weaver; and his brother Rev. Billy Keene. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
