He was predeceased by: his parents, James Carl and Louise Cox Powers; and his brother Steve Powers. He is survived by: his wife LaDonna Powers; his sons, Jason Michael Powers and David Brandon Powers; his grandchildren, Bailen Justice Powers and Layla Michelle Allen; and his siblings, Joan Powers, Jim Powers (Frances), Kathy Caudle and Malcolm Powers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Rose and Graham Funeral Chapel (301 W Main St, Benson, NC 27504). A reception will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Rose and Graham Funeral Home (301 W Main St, Benson, NC 27504).
