He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert "Bob" Reed Sr. and Ruth A. Reed; and his brother Thomas "Tom" Reed. He is survived by: his siblings, Penny A. Reed and Robert "Bob" Reed Jr. (Christine "Chris" Reed) of Benson; and his children, Tabatha M. Reed, James E. Reed Jr. of Tennessee and Kimberly A. Reed. He is also survived by ten grandchildren along with several nieces and nephews.
