He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Jessie Harper Lucus; his children, James Anthony "Tony" Lucus (Tracy), Bryan Joseph Lucus (Jessica Turner) and Shannon Paige Lucus (Heather McLamb); his grandchildren, Nathaniel Heitman Lucus (Taylor), Baylie Blailock (Ethan), Spencer Scott Lucus (Karlee Williams), Kassidy Anne Lucus (Austin Baker), Ricky Dale Baker and Ashley Nicole Berna (Alyssa); his great grandchildren, Caden Lee Baker, Sophia Marie Coronado and Xander Cole Coronado; his sister Mary Ann Lucus Nance (Duren); his sister-in-law Melinda Moses Carlyle (Tony); and his parents, Herman Heitman Lucus and Annie Louise Willis Lucus.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hickory Grove Advent Christian Church (1232 Hickory Grove Church Rd, Four Oaks, NC 27524). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
