He is survived by: his wife Annette Honeycutt Murphy; his children, Alan Murphy (Shannon) of Clinton, Ben Murphy of Four Oaks, Emily Murphy and Cody Rhodes of Dunn; his grandson Dalton Murphy; his great grandchild Asher Murphy; his brother Craig Murphy of Goldsboro; his sister-in-law Barbara Murphy of Goldsboro; and also, Treva Elaine, Bobby West of Turkey, Janet Sue and Earl Faircloth of Newton Grove.
