She was predeceased by: her parents, Percy Daniel and Rose Etta Grant Thompson; her husband William "W. J." Baker; and her children, Gloria Bundy and Craig Baker.
She is survived by: her children, Alice Turnage of Four Oaks and Greg Baker (Darlene) of Pine Level; her son-in-law Herb Bundy of Four Oaks; her grandchildren, Chris Strickland (Karen), Shawn Turnage, Brad Baker (Dana) and Kayla Boykin (Tyler); her great grandchildren, Tyler Strickland, Kady Strickland, Brayden Baker and Sawyer Baker; and her close friend Jennifer Snead. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
