Dixie Thornton Barbour Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dixie Thornton Barbour (Four Oaks, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2025 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Norwood Thornton and Ruth Lee Thornton; her siblings, Sarah Buff, Ann Denning of Bobby Thornton, J. M, Gordon Thornton and Douglas Thornton; and her son-in-law Avis Creech.
She is survived by: her husband Eugene Barbour (Gene); her daughters, Tammy Liles (David) and Pam Creech; her grandson Braxton Creech; her sister Linda Reardon; and her sister-in-law Lou Thornton. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Inc. (5820 US-301, Four Oaks, NC 27524).
