He was predeceased by: his father Howard Stephenson; and his sisters, Patricia Bundy and Dorothy Parker. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Oberholtzer Stephenson; his children, Thomas Stephenson (Beth) of Clayton, NC, Michael Stephenson (Anita) of Four Oaks, NC and Debbie Holloman (Don) of Pine Level, NC; his grandsons, Richard Stephenson (Lori) of Benson, NC and Patrick Stephenson of Columbia, SC; his sisters, Janice Southerland (Sherwood) of Smithfield, NC, Becky Renfrow (Ed) of Smithfield, NC and Callie Jones of Smithfield, NC; and his caregivers, Sarah, Mary, Jeanine, Sharon and Dewey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
