He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Jones and Eunice Mae Benson Jones; his son Brandon Jones; and his sister Vickie Jones Sanders. He is survived by: his wife Ruth W. Jones; his children, Rae Boyd (Jamie) of Selma and Joy Ennis (Shannon) of Four Oaks; his grandchildren, Erika Hinnant, Callie Austene, Mallory Lippitt, Rick Bartholomew, Harley Bartholomew and Payton Ennis; his great grandchild Ausley Hinnant; and his siblings, Brenda Jones of Smithfield, Janice Neill (Max) of Cherryville, NC and Jimmy B. Jones of Smithfield.
