She was predeceased by: her father Frank W. Thornton, Jr.; her husband David C. Cobb; her daughter Emily A. Cobb; and her brother Frankie Thornton. She is survived by: her daughter Kimberly C. Derycke of Four Oaks, NC; her grandson Colin David Derycke; her sisters, Charlotte T. Lee (James Randy) and Jennifer T. Johnson; and her sister-in-law Barbour A. Cobb. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
