He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul H. Langdon and Sallie Byrd Langdon; his wife Nancy Johnson Langdon; and his brothers, Hampton Langdon, Thel Langdon and Donald Langdon.
He is survived by: his children, Carl B. Langdon, Jr. (Amanda) and Melissa Langdon (Ken Spector); his grandson Paul Everette Langdon; and his sister-in-law Jean Langdon. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
