He was predeceased by: his father Bobby Ray Mitchell; and his brothers, Stephen Adams and Melvin "Buddy" Baker. He is survived by: his mother Peggy Wiggs Baker; his sisters, Tammy Adams of Four Oaks and Norma Temple of Selma; his nieces and nephews, Dani Strickland (Will), Megan Baker, Anna Adams, Stephen Adams and Kyle Adams; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Nicolas Strickland, Jasper Adams, Averi Strickland, Stevie Grace Adams and Harrison Adams; and his sister-in-law Cathy Adams.
