She was predeceased by: her parents, David Alton and Mazelle Woodall West; her husband Hilton Davidian Byrd, Sr.; and her brothers, Charles West and Clifton West.
She is survived by: her sons, Davidian Byrd (Angela) of Clayton, NC and Tony Byrd (Amy) of Archer Lodge, NC; her grandchildren, Kurt Byrd (Rachel) of Clayton, NC, Kathryn Terry (Andrew) of Lynchburg, VA, Ashlie Acevedo of Greensboro, NC and Zach Acevedo of Archer Lodge, NC; her great grandchildren, Jameson Byrd and Beatrice Byrd of Clayton, NC; and her sister Marie Blackmon of Sanford, NC. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at the Rose & Graham Funeral Home Inc. (5820 US-301, Four Oaks, NC 27524). A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
