He is survived by: his parent Dorothy Barnes; his daughters, Jessica Poythress (Jeremy) of Grifton and Mistie Butler of Winterville; his stepdaughter Rebecca Andrews (Lee) of Farmville; and his siblings, Sandra Matthews (Phillip) of Fountain and Michael Barnes (Ruth) of Stantonsburg. He is also survived by father and amazing grandfather.
