She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Varnell and Doretha Strickland Varnell; her husband Paul Pittman, Sr.; and her daughter Debbie Pittman. She is survived by: her children, Paul Pittman, Jr. (Patti) of Tarboro, Paulette Pittman (Ricky Hamill) of Fountain, Connie Gibson (Mike) of Littleton, Ann Ellis (Dwayne Ellis) of Lake Gaston and Bobbie Jo Anderson of Fountain; and her cousin Angie. She is also survived by her many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her three great-great grandchildren.
