He was predeceased by: his wife Edna Cobb Horton. He is survived by: his children, Anne Horton Harkins (Vernon) of Goldsboro, Archie Wallace Horton Jr. (Ramona) of Mt. Olive, Jimmy Randall Horton (Jan) of Washington and Donald Owen Horton (Joyce) of Rolesville. He is also survived by six grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.
