Julia Carpenter-Poe Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 1, 2021, Julia Carpenter-Poe (Fort Bragg, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Troy Lee Poe; her children, Willie Earl Carpenter of Sumter, SC, Nichele Carpenter of Dunn and Adrienne Yolanda Carpenter of Newport News, VA; and her sister Virginia Carpenter of Newport News, VA. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

The funeral service will be conducted Friday, October 8, 2021 at 12:00 pm at the Spring Hill Free Will Baptist Church, Godwin, following the church's guidelines for entrance, capacity, and social distancing.
