It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Yolanda Olson of Fort Barnwell, North Carolina, who passed away on June 17, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Walton Lester "Duke" Jones and Neppie Mae Davis Jones; her daughter Tina Lynette Ipock; and her siblings, Walton "Tommie" Jones and Brenda Jones Witherington.

She is survived by: her husband James "Jim" Olson; her children, John Bradley "Brad" Ipock (Vanessa), Michael Ipock, Jason Ipock (Rachel) and Tara Ipock Clark (Kasey); her stepchildren, Shannon Esposito (Daniel) and James "Jim" Olson (Michelle); her siblings, Roger Jones (Jan) and Jeannie Jones; her sister-in-law Vicki Jones; and her grandchildren, Hailey, Braleigh, Ethan, Dylan, Noah, Ava, Krosby, Kopeland, Magnolia, Ty, Jayden, Sadie, Gabriel and Jack.

“I am so very sorry for your loss. I remember her as Yogi on the Farm Life HS basketball team, she a senior and I a freshman. She was kind and patient, always encouraging others. Her brother, Roger, was in my class and much like his sister, was very kind and one of the brightest people in the class.”
