He was predeceased by: his parents, Reuel "Det" Groves and Alta "Gladys" Padgett Groves; his wife Maxine Barnes Groves; and his son Gary Groves. He is survived by: his children, Stephanie Sutay Cheryl Adams (Ron) and Jeff Groves (Brenda); his brother Jack Franklin Groves; and his stepchildren, Rex McKinney Gary McKinney (Cindy) and Cheryl Cole (Mark). He is also survived by Eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren Six step-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.
