William James Banfield Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William James Banfield of Forest City, North Carolina, born in Mentor, Ohio, who passed away on August 14, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, William shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid William farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Charles Spencer Banfield and Hilda Maude Collins Banfield; his wife Ada Ruth Banfield; his son William Paul Banfield; and his brothers, Percival and Harry Banfield.
He is survived by: his sons, David Banfield (Suanne) of Michigan and Thomas Banfield (Kathryn) of Forest City; and his daughter-in-law Denise Banfield of Ohio. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
