With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon Harrill of Forest City, North Carolina, who passed away on May 9, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Joyce Crawley Harrill; his parents, William Vance Harrill and Flora Jane McDaniel Harrill; and his close friend Eula Childers. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Newton of Forest City, NC and Jim Harrill (Emily) of Mason, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Michelle Morgan of Fletcher, NC, Jennifer Moore (Nick) of Greensboro, NC and Chris Harrill of Philadelphia, PA. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
