She was predeceased by: her mother Minnie Hastings; her daughter Linda Greene; and her siblings, Corbett Hastings, Paul Workman, Blanche Murray and Doris Solon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sue Dale (James) of Morganton and Kay Towery of Forest City; her son-in-law Bobby Greene of Ellenboro; her brothers, Jack Hastings (Phyllis) of New Kent and Joe Hastings of Albany, Georgia; her sister-in-law Betty Houser of Bostic; and her nephew Rubin Solon (Gloria) of Sugartown, Louisiana.. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren and twenty-two great-great-grandchildren.
