He was predeceased by: his parents, George Andrew Ellenburg and Lillian Ford Ellenburg; and his brother David Ellenburg. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Kirby Ellenburg; his son Matthew Clay Ellenburg; his daughter-in-law Teresa Diaz Ellenburg of Bethesda, MD.; and his siblings, George Harold Ellenburg (Mary), Michael Andrew Ellenburg (Myra) of Rutherfordton, Donald Ray Ellenburg (Betty) of Forest City, Joyce Wilson of Midlothian, VA, Donna Kay Edwards (Terry) of Mill Spring and Evelyn Henrickson (Veon) of Mount Vernon, OH.. He is also survived by aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
